Lana Cannon, Director of Daycare/Kindergarten

Lana is married to Johnny Cannon.  Their children are:  Matt (25),  Whitney (19), daughter-in-law, Raven Stanford Cannon, and granddaughter, Kaylee Elyse.  They are active members of Walnut Park Baptist Church where Lana has served as their church pianist for the last 23 years.  Lana also serves her church as Children's Department Director and formerly was Children's Choir Director.

Pets:  Lil' Ray and grand-dog, "Cannonball".

Favorite Food:  grilled tilapia and mahi-mahi

Favorite College Sports:  University of Alabama  Roll Tide!!!

Favorite Vacation Spot:  Panama City Beach

Hobbies:  Scrapbooking (if I had the time!)

Favorite Past time:  Playing with our dog, Lil' Ray,  trying to keep up with Johnny's schedules and playing with my granddaughter!

Favorite Part of My Job:  Singing with the children and hearing children's laughter

Lana has worked with our Kindergarten/Daycare since October 1994.  She has served for several years as the assistant director.  She teaches music and plans the musical programs for Christmas and End of Year programs.
