When my wife and I joined 12th Street many years ago, one of the main things that attracted us was that both of our children had attended the 12th Street Kindergarten when they were young.  We were so impressed with that ministry of the church, we decided to look further at the church as a place for our family to worship together.  Since that time, my oldest granddaughter has come through our kindergarten/daycare .... and her younger sister (and my youngest granddaughter) is currently attending our daycare every day.  This is a great ministry to children and their families.

Deciding who to intrust the care of your child to is the most heartwrenching decision for parents.  But when I walked into Twelfth Street, the decision became clear.  I found a place that would care for my child as if he was their own.  He is happy and looks forward to going to school everyday.  I can't express my love and gratitude enough to the staff at Twelfth Street.

When you ask a parent in Gadsden to tell you a short list of the best daycares in Gadsden, Twelfth Street Baptist is always at the top of the l ist.  So when we found out we were having our second child, we knew we had to try to give him the best.  After hearing testimonies from coworkers and visiting the facility, I was confident that this was the place for our child.  The staff of  Twelfth Street Daycare is a special group of people.  They seem to be chosen by God to serve children.  It makes me feel like it's too good to be true, but after speaking with o ther parents and seeing the workers with my child, I know that it is real.  God has anointed Twelfth Street to care for children and I am blessed to  be able to bring my child to such a great daycare where I know he is being loved and cared for everyday.

For the last six years we have been so blessed by having had the opportunity for our children to be a party of Twelfth Street Baptist Kindergarten.  Our oldest child started the 3 year old Pre-K program in the Fall of 2004 and completed three years at Twelfth Street.  Our youngest child will "graduate" from Twelfth Street this spring before moving on to kindergarten.  Twelfth Street has provided an excellent start to our children's education.  The teachers and staff are wonderful.  The school is exceptionally well managed.  It is very reassuring to know that when you leave your children, they are well taken care of.  Not only has the teachers at Twelfth Street cared for our children, but they have loved them and become a part of our family.

When we first  began thinking about child care for our son, we knew we wanted him to attend Twelfth Street.  Thankfully, we were able to enroll Baylor in the nursery when he was eight months old, and he is now in his fourth and final year here.  We have never had to worry about the kind of care he is given and have been amazed at how much he has learned.  In fact, when he was in the Pre-Two Class, he was taught The Lord's Prayer and was able to recite it from memory!  We are welcomed every morning by the wonderful staff and teachers, and the fact that they are happy to see the children gives any parent a perfect peace.  We are forever indebted to this awesome program for not only preparing our son for Kindergarten, but for loving him like he is their own.
